2021

Many congratulations go to Michelle K. Williams, the winner of our inaugural landscape photography award celebrating the ‘spirit’ of the North East, for her photograph, ‘The North East Coast is Our Very Own Pot of Gold”, and Louise Warburton for her photograph, “On Reflection” which took the portraiture award celebrating the ‘heart’ of the North East. Both receive a cash prize of £1000, and their images were projected onto the BALTIC Art Gallery on 4th December 2021. Additionally, all shortlisted photographs were exhibited at the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery between 1st -30th November 2021, with free admission.

 

2022

Many congratulations go to Jim Scott, the winner of our 2022 landscape photography award celebrating the ‘spirit’ of the North East, for his photograph, ‘Early Birds of Lindisfarne’, and Matthew Locke for his photograph, ‘Back on Track’, which took the portraiture award celebrating the ‘heart’ of the North East. Both receive a cash prize of £1000, and their images were featured in Living North Magazine. Additionally, all shortlisted photographs were exhibited at the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery, with free admission, and featured on the BBC.

 

2023

Many congratulations go to Dr Julie Smith the winner of our 2023 landscape photography award celebrating the ‘spirit’ of the North East, for her photograph, ‘Dancing Trees’, and Mick Fulcher for his photograph, ‘Start of the Week’, which took the portraiture award celebrating the ‘heart’ of the North East. Both received a cash prize of £1000, and their images were featured in Living North Magazine and exhibited at the Biscuit Factory Art Gallery.
